A good morning at Northam Burrows. A small flock of 6 Snow Buntings were on the Pebble Ridge at Sandmere, and a single Purple Sandpiper was wading around the edge of the mere itself.
At the Skern there were 5 Pale-bellied Brents among 100+ Dark-bellied, and a female Merlin was sitting on the saltmarsh there. Earlier a Short-eared Owl had been reported

Northam Burrows
A good morning on Northam Burrows today. A small flock of 6 Snow Buntings were on the Pebble Ridge at Sandymere, whilst a single Purple Sandpiper was wading along the edge of the mere itself.
At the Skern a flock of 100+ Brents included 5 Pale-bellied, and a female Merlin was sat on the saltmarsh there. Earlier a Short-eared Owl had been reported.
